“ThieleGlas History”

Everything started in 1989 in the picturesque town Schrozberg (Baden Württemberg) with the visions of Alfred Thiele. A small glass cutting company with 4 employees and a manageable production and office area of 800 m2 was the beginning of the construction of a medium-sized, modern and innovative glass processing company with seven locations, 75,000 m2 of production area, 500 employees and appr. 50 trainees.

In the year 2002 a new production site in the Saxon town Wermsdorf was built, which grew up to the biggest site of the Thiele Glas company. In the following years the company expanded rapidly and integrated five other sites in western and east Germany. Today the company with its seven strategically placed locations in Germany is optimally positioned and capable of delivering customers or construction sites quickly and easily nationally and internationally with its own fleet of trucks.
